Funny > Thursday, July-02-2009Sticky situation
A reality video, probably from Russia, showing a pretty sticky situation. The road is getting reworked, and the asphalt or tar that is in place is so sticky that pedestrians remain stuck as insects on fly paper. I just can't stop laughing at the mayhem! Enjoy!
Amazing > Wednesday, July-01-2009Ultraprecise form of art
Artist Willard Wigan creates ultraprecision. This is precision work done by people and seems seems to have surpassed even machinery in the kind of details this guy is able to create. Does anyone want a statue of liberty sculpture that can fit in the ear of a needle?
WTF..?! > Wednesday, July-01-2009Weird looking form of life?
It looks like something you would find in the human body, but from the video it seems that it's inside a sewer. If it is real, then it might be an extraordinary find. Big if, tho
Cool > Tuesday, June-30-2009Chalk and blackboard stop-motion animation
Here's a cool stop-motion animation made only with a chalk and blackboard. It seems that when you've got talent, it doesn't matter what you use it for, it will always be great. Enjoy this artistic stop-motion animation video!
Technology and Health News > Tuesday, June-30-2009Nano-spheres for the diagnosis of cancer
Italian researcher Alessandra Luchini wins the first edition of "The Prize Award” with a paper of a system to identify those molecules that signal the presence of a tumor (tumor markers) that are beyond the traditional methods of investigation.
To do this requires making a hydrogel containing certain microscopic nano-spheres that once inserted in the samples of blood taken for analysis diagnostic trap some markers and protect them from deterioration. "These nano-spheres, made of the same plastic as hydrated soft contact lenses are equipped with special molecules that, once in the blood, snap-specific tumor markers and incorporate them. In this way, they protect them from enzymes that would otherwise deteriorate them. Usually blood tests fail to identify precisely because these markers are destroyed prematurely, " says researcher Alessandra Luchini. "The beauty of this system," says the researcher, "is that it does not need very sophisticated tools, which is simple and economical: with one hundred U.S. dollars we can make nano-spheres for more than two hundred patients." The new method is not going to replace the standard, but acts at a stage prior to analysis by providing a better quality. Funny > Thursday, June-25-2009Hilarious pranks from Russia
When teens are on a trip, pranks are usually the norm, but this video is beyond that. There are some rough ones, but mainly these pranks are hilarious. Enjoy the show!
Funny > Thursday, June-25-2009If Star Trek was real...
I consider this video a far more realistic version of Star Trek than the series itself. You have men and women on a ship, away for months, with both of them in tight....very tight uniforms. I guess it's just a matter of time before something explodes
Funny > Wednesday, June-24-2009Why women hate football
A funny commercial, showing more or less why women don't like football that much. Enjoy!
Funny > Wednesday, June-24-2009Huge vase becomes a cat urn
We don't know what eventually happened to the cat, but it was either break the vase or turn it into a cat urn. I know it's morbid...but that can't isn't very bright, and is a shame for its species.
