C-17 Globemaster incredible short landing


An incredibly short landing from US's top military cargo aircraft, the C-17 Globemaster. The landing is so short that after it stops, it can go backwards. No that's truly amazing!

The C17 is a great plane. I'm a crew chief on them, and they continue to amaze me. The pilots went a little overboard on the thrust reversers though, as you can see by the compressor stall on the #3 engine. Believe it or not, that didn't harm the plane at all.
