Cool Video of a Sound Resonance Experiment
An awesome video of a sound resonance experiment. By raising the wavelength of the sound beautiful patterns (and more complex) appear in the powder. Just another demonstration that physics can be beautiful
Also check out this Fire Spectroscope Video. It's also awesome.

Just a thought
Woah.
I have a degree in Math, one in Physics, and one in history.
I really liked it.
My dog, however, did not like it.

I don't get it
Does this work with any object with a flat surface that you can get to it's resonant frequency? For example, if I had some sheet metal, could I do this?
Do you know what material was used in the video? Did they use anything in particular for the powder? I figure a light dust like powdered sugar should work fine?
