Here's a little something I like, and wanted to share with you all. A missile launch from a MLRS platform (Multiple Launch Rocket System). It's pretty spectacular, and probably doesn't compare to the actual feeling of being near it when it launches, but it's the best we can do. Enjoy!

This thing rocks. It's the coolest and newest invention in fire fighting technology. It uses 2 powerful Mig-21 turbines mounted on a Russian tank to blow the water. The video demonstrates how it can be used to extinguish burning oil wells (like the ones in Iraq in '91). Simply awesome.
