Here's a cool and spectacular explosion of an American DELTA rocket which self-destructed at 13 seconds into its flight. It left behind a massive fire blast. Luckily, it was unmanned.
A really cool video from the Transition Region and Coronal Explorer (TRACE). TRACE is a NASA Small Explorer mission to image the solar corona and transition region at high angular and temporal resolution. Whatever that means. All I can say is that these video of the Sun rulz!

This is NASA WorldWind 1.4 and it makes Google Earth look like child's play. It just takes it to a next level. Besides exploring Earth, you can explore the Solar System's planets just like in Google Earth and see the volcanoes, craters and planet rings. It's plain awesome!
