A cool barrett rifle video showing why the Barrett M107 .50 caliber sniper rifle scares the enemy before it even shoots a bullet. Cool.
This is a really cool video clip. It shows what a bullet filmed in slow motion can do to different objects: fruits, soda cans, bottles....It's actually quite amazing to see how they explode after the bullet passes. Anyway, enjoy this bullet slow motion video!
Funny
Here's how a serious topic like the missile defense system can be condensed into 30 seconds of humorous info bulletin!
WTF..?!
Don't people ever learn? Didn't they see on TV what happens when a train hits a car? WTF? Are you in such a hurry that it makes sense to risk your life for a few seconds? Well...this guy certainly dodged a bullet. It's incredible!
I was really waiting for something bad to happen to this guy: for example, the bullets in the loader to heat enough and shoot everywhere. But it seems he got lucky
Big in Japan
It's incredible to see what skills this modern day Samurai has: with one swoop of the sword he is able to precisely cut very small objects: a mushroom's umbrella, a pea bean cut horizontally and even a small ball bullet!! It's amazing! Enjoy!
Amazing
Here's the ultimate slow motion video in my opinion. Shot at 1 million fps, it shows the impact of different kind of bullets on different surfaces, like ice, concrete, glass, and others. As a bonus there is footage of shotgun pellets hitting the target. Really amazing and cool! Enjoy!
Yeah, well, let's just say that this guy is now a new man, and sees life in a quite different perspective! Wow! That's just plain lucky!
This armored Rolls Royce is not only bullet proof, but even bomb proof, being able to withstand what looks like small roadside bombs. It's really an amazing car!
These soldiers were lucky to get out with their lives, because their car was fitted with bullet proof glass. The shot didn't penetrate the window, and the only casualties were the pants ;) Enjoy this spectacular bullet proof glass video.
Technology and Health News
A study conducted by an Italian and published on Pnas shows that healthy cells, if required to "diet", have an increased resistance to stress caused by the drugs compared with those ill.
Fasting can be a weapon against the heavy effects of chemotherapy. Just as the fight against cancer concentrates its efforts on the so-called magic bullets, drugs capable of selectively target diseased cells from laboratories of the University of Southern California shows a new paradigm: protect healthy cells and then go furiously only against those sick . A team led by biologist Italian Valter Longo, which involved the United States laboratories and the hospital Gaslini of Genoa, has discovered a kind of magic screen that healthy cells (as a result of caloric restriction) have as a defense against chemotherapy. The results of the study appeared on Pnas Early Edition (here a link to the video.)
