This is the reason why you shouldn't be caught under a tree during a storm. The researchers say that the safest place to be is...yes...your car! That's because you're in a Faraday cage!

This guy built himself one cool looking (and functioning) ride. It comes fully equipped with eight legs, that when in use make a lot of racket. If you look carefully you can see it slipping until it gets going, so maybe he could've thought of some tire-like rubbery feet for those legs. Just an idea. Pretty cool, though!

Who would've thought shampoo could me so much fun? Scientists of the University of Twente made a video of leaping shampoo. This is actually a fluid effect called Kaye effect. Some fluids in motion can manifest this interesting effect. I don't know about the practical applications of it, but it's very beautiful! Enjoy!
