So how does a Tesla Coil that can discharge 1 million volts look like, and what damage can it do? Well, from the next video it seems obvious that you wanna stay WAAAAAYYYYY back when it's operating. Now that is a true light show! Enjoy!

At power plants or transformer units they have switches like this, which due to the tremendous voltage (500,000 Volts) it can penetrate the air just like lightning. It makes for a great show!

Here's a pretty cool power plant substation exploding after it burns for a few seconds. This happened in Miami, Florida at Ives Dairy substation. The substation's transformers are in oil (for it to manage to dissipate all the heat), so when you mix hot oil with high voltage you get a spectacular boom! Enjoy!

These guys managed to capture a 2.2 million volt lightning strike using just a thick piece of Plexiglass. As the lightning strike travels through it, it melts the plastic, leaving an imprint of the strike, called a Lichtenberg figure. Pretty cool, isn't it?

This tree made the mistake of toughing those high voltage wires. This lead to an electric arc to be formed between the tree and the wires. This arc, eventually vaporized the tree sap and burned the tree in half. Pretty spectacular show! Enjoy!

Wow...I wonder what the pay for this crazy job is. It looks very dangerous, and walking on high voltage lines isn't exactly a good prospect for reaching the retirement years. Anyway...it's cool and you've got a good view. Enjoy!
