Here's an 100year old film, in color, showing the trench warfare of WWI. It's the first color video I've ever seen of the Wirst Worl War, and I have to admit that it's all pretty grey... as was the war itself for that matter.

Since Windows took 10 years in becoming the software that everyone wanted it to be, here's another version that promises to deliver even more, and wants to fill the gap which is currently filled by a number of software products (HyperSnap, Total Commander,..). This very cool video, covers the evolution form fish to dinosaurs mainly. It also has a short segment for the evolution of humanoids. Unfortunately it doesn't cover birds and mammals, but even so it spans over 282 million years. I've seen what Ubuntu managed to realize in the past years, and I must say I'm very excited about it. Even though it's missing decent and easy to use fake Raid support, I might try to install it. Compiz is one of the cool things I've heard great things in Ubuntu. Now, KDE 4.0 makes use of some of these effects adding a welcomed revival of the old user interface. Cool!

If you are a football (aka soccer) fan as I am, than you know why over 1 billion people watch the Champions League final each year! The full commitment of the players to this game is breathtaking. Some of them make it look so easy and fun, that you almost could say anyone could do it. Have a look at what some of the greatest soccer players can do in a match and enjoy!
